Chiroubles

Les Rases

Présentation :

The Chiroubles appellation leans on Beaujolais hills landscape and is the highest “cru” of all. The vines are planted on steep hillsides; in order to control the erosion of the “gore” soils, many “rases” (canals) have been dug across slopes to channel water runoff.

Dégustation :

Ruby‐colored, this Chiroubles expresses floral aromas. The attack on the palate is neat and followed by a sappy texture. Red fruit notes then appear, giving a crumbly touch to the
tasting. The finale is tender and long‐lasting.
