Varietal: Chardonnay

Terroir: Clay-limestone

Exposure: South-West

Density: 10 000 vines per ha

Vine age: up to 103 years

Yield: 50 to 55 hl/ha

Harvest: by hand, entire grapes, transport in cases, double sorting on the parcel

Winemaking

After racking at low temperatures, fermentation takes place in temperature controlled vats on fine lees from which we obtain a full, fatty wine. Aged for 8 months on fine lees in barrels.

Alcohol content: 13 % vol.

Dégustation :

A golden color, shiny and clear. Rich nose of fruit and spices melting  with some peach, lemon and curry aromates. Palate clear and robust. An intense final with some grilled and jammed notes. Great feeling, a wine that gives without restraint, for an immediate pleasure.

Serve at about 12°C.
