Présentation : | In the vineyard Varietal: Gamay Terroir: Schistes quartz and gneiss Exposure: South facing slopes on a rocky fault Density: 10 000 vines per ha Vine age: up to 55 years Pruning: Goblet, 4 renewal spurs, 2 eyes Yield: 40 to 50 hl/ha Harvest: by hand, entire grapes, transport in crates Winemaking After a double sorting, a part the grapes are de-stemmed before being displayed in vats. Maceration lasts 15 days. Temperature is regulated during all the fermentation. After a slow, non-aggressive pressing this wine matures in vats (40%) and in casks (60%). Alcohol content: 13 % vol. |
Dégustation : | A dark and sombre robe. A fresh nose with a black currant touch. A rich mouth with a nice structure and strengh. Rafine tannins with delicacy Serve at about 14/16°C |
